My team is looking forward to upgrading our game to Godot 4.4, as Godot 4.3 has a few bugs that have caused us some heartache for a while. Does anyone know when Esoteric is expecting to release Godot 4.4 support for Spine? No rush or anything, just want a rough idea so we can plan our own schedule more effectively.

jakecard Unfortunately, Mario, who is responsible for spine-godot, is currently on sick leave and won't be able to respond immediately, not even with a rough estimate. I believe he will reply to this thread once he returns, so we appreciate your patience in the meantime.

Misaki No worries at all! Please send Mario well-wishes from the Mega Crit team, really hope he feels better soon 🙂

Hi, hope Android/iOS support will be added too for Godot 4.4 with C# 🙂

Misaki Hi Misaki! Just wanted to check in and see if there are any updates. I assume Mario is still on sick leave so no need for an estimate right now or anything, just hoping to get some more info for my team's planning.

jakecard Yes, unfortunately Mario has not yet been able to return from his medical leave. There is also no clear timeline for his return, so we are unsure when support for Godot 4.4 will be released. Sorry for the lack of a specific update, but the documentation for spine-godot also explains how to build it, allowing users to modify it themselves and integrate it into their desired version. If you haven’t already, you might find it helpful to take a look.

Misaki Thanks Misaki, understood. Best wishes to Mario, please keep us in the loop!

Hi, sorry for the abscene. I'm trying to get back into gear, but am still "medically challenged". I try to get 4.4 working asap, possibly this week.
