We're currently trying to get animation mixing in Unity to work for a typical running + shooting scenario.
The run animation is keyframed like normal (arms and legs etc are all keyframed).
The shoot animation is only the arms shaking (like vibration from a machine gun) and muzzle flash. Only the arms and muzzle flash are keyframed, nothing else.
When we attempt to mix the two and play in Unity, we get the character's legs running like they should be, but we also get a combo of the arm movement from the run and the arm movement from the shoot animation just making a glitchy frankenstein between the two.
What are we doing wrong here? Is what we're attempting supported?
