Hello, im very new to spine. I would like to rig the below character if I draw it in affinity designer. I want to practice the 12 principles of animation. But the character doesn't have separate body parts. So I'm not sure how it would work with bones. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hello, Spine can animate characters using mesh attachments and weights even if they are not finely separated into parts. This video would be helpful to see what these features can do:
However, around the joints tend to look odd when moved, so it would be better to separate the parts depending on the final look you are looking for.
If you have any further questions, feel free to ask us.

Hi buddy, thanks very much for the reply. I think I will just draw him as separate parts and add the bones and add weight and give that a go.Misaki wrote:Hello, Spine can animate characters using mesh attachments and weights even if they are not finely separated into parts.
